Pidipompi Calling Card Review

Today we are going to review pidipompi India calling card.

As per the website “Pidipompi.com is one of the fastest growing “Long Distance Phone Cards and Calling Cards Telecommunication Companies”, routing millions of minutes of voice calls across the world.” We couldn’t find any registered company name called Pidipompi in United States. After a long research, we found out that it’s own by a company called “IK Communication”. This company also own another calling card company called “Amantel”. This is in business over 10 years. So we can trust this service provider. That’s good news.

Let’s review thier popular calling plan called 500 minutes to call India in $4.95.

Here is the plan details:

550 minutes in $4.95
No Maintenance fee or Connection fee
No Rental fee or Administration fee
No Hidden fees
Validity is 30 days from the date of purchase.

There is 15% service fee. You will be paying $5.70 cents for 550 minutes plan.

There are two important facts to aware:

1. You will never able to use $4.95. System will automatical recharge your credit card as soon as the balance goes below $2. So you will be paying another $5.70 to use complete minutes.

2. It would be auto renewal after 30 days of purhcase and you loose all your used minutes.

You can make your own decision based on the above facts.

Please share your expriance with Pidipompi service.

Amantel Review

Plan: Call India 1000 minutes for $5 Plan Review:

The plan looks great. It seems to be the best plan in the market. Let’s go in details of the plan offering, it says there is no activation fees, no hidden fees. That’s great. When you buy the $5 plan, there is $2.99 processing charge. So it’s not $5, you have to pay $7.99. Still it looks good.

It’s not saying anywhere this plan is only for India mobile phones. If you call India line number it will cost you way more than market rate. Still 1000 minutes to $7.99 to India mobile phone still looks good.

Here is another catch; you can’t use whole $5 which you paid. After you use $2, it will charge you $12.99. The auto recharge is setup automatically, before you know you paid $21($5 + $2.99 + $10 + $2.99) to Amantel.

Another interesting finding on this plan is its 2 minutes rounding where most of the other calling card companies are charging 1 minute rounding.

Conclusion, we wouldn’t recommend to buy this plan.

India calling cards

Now a day’s all the traditional calling card companies are selling call cards online. They use to pay 30 to 40% commission to store to selling their card but thanks to internet revolution, they can reach to customer directly and by passing the stores. It’s very good for the customer that they are getting good deal to make international phone calls.

At the same time, some companies are playing same old gimmicks to fool around customers. I see some companies are offering less than one cent per minute to call India. Since the cost to terminate calls to India mobile is between 1.02 cents to 1.11 cents and India landline between 1.2 cents to 1.3 cents, one must wonder how they are selling below their cost. They are playing lots of gimmick and end of the day customer pay over 1.4 cents per minute.

When you are buying a calling card to call India, go for the companies selling around 1.4 cents per minute. So you will not feel cheated at the end of the day.

India LD Review

Today we are going to review India LD India calling plans. IndiaLD is a small VoIP service provider with main focus to provide calling service to India. It’s a trustworthy company but we found the calling plans are very confusing. There is no comparison of different plans. It’s not easy to decide which plan to fit for your calling need.

Here are the plans, Monthly 500, Monthly 1000, Monthly 1500, Monthly 2000, Unlimited Plan, Quarter call, Aircel 1 to 1, Aircel Happy hours, Aircel Calling Circle.

First of all you need to decide how many minutes you use per month based on that you decide which plan to use. All the monthly plan are 30 days validity. If you don’t use within 30 days, you will lose money. So you have to very careful while selecting the plan.

The unlimited plan is not really unlimited plan, you can use only 5000 minutes per month. That’s misleading information. They should call it Monthly 5000 plan instead of unlimited plan.

There is no 24/7 phone or live help. It’s very important for any service provider to have 24/7 support to resolve customer issues.
